We started by walking the business leaders through how to position themselves in the market. We had many valuable conversations about how to sell their services and overall brand.
Our main tactic was to move away from one-time revenue generators and build a system fueled by recurring revenue streams. Instead of booking on a project-by-project basis, we reformulated their service model to highlight cyclical sales for a single account.
We worked on changing the way they had conversations with clients about their services and capabilities, tweaked their presentation content and skills, and adjusted how they carried out sales conversations.
The catalyst here was recognizing that they had the talent, services, recognition, and name. They just needed to sell themselves with confidence.
This photography studio crushed its goals.
They reached $1 million in annual revenue run rate within the first 90 days. Then just a few short months later, $1.5 million in profit run rate per year. Within 5 months, we closed on three significant recurring revenue accounts. This provided a solid foundation for making their business profitable.
They were fully booked with committed clients and back-to-back shoots a few months after that. They had more than enough revenue to get out of debt, pay the bills, and invest in new equipment that would further differentiate them from others in the industry. They were also able to bring on new, innovative creatives that could lend their ideas to the present and future of the company.
The extra funds empowered them to make truly creative and phenomenal art with the tools they had and the additional ones they acquired. They truly unlocked their ability to accomplish whatever they set out to do within the agency.
We expect this studio to continue growing over the next 12 months. It’s difficult to say just how much they will grow because they have so much potential. We believe it’s safe to say that they will continue to scale exponentially, considering they grew 7x in just 4 short months.
